1. Deputy City Attorney III or IV – Labor & Employment
Salary range for DCA III: $119,000 to $146,115; DCA IV: $131,211 to $161,089 annually
The candidate must have expert knowledge of and extensive experience in labor & employment law, advice, negotiations and arbitration.

2. Deputy City Attorney II or III – General Advisory and Rent
Salary range for DCA II: $107,932 to $132,531 annually; DCA III: $119,000 to $146,115 annually
The candidate should have expertise in municipal law and will work in practice areas including rent regulations and landlord/tenant law and providing advice on a wide range of issues such as public nuisance, ethics, code enforcement, housing law, land use, contracting and drafting legislation.

3. Deputy City Attorney V – Litigation
Salary range: $144,654 to $177,594
This position will handle the most complex cases with the highest level of exposure. The DCA V may supervise other attorneys, will collaborate and mentor other attorneys and will serve as team leader on a number of cases.

4. Deputy City Attorney V – Police Departmental Counsel
Salary range: $144,654 to $177,594
The ideal candidate should have significant experience advising and representing public entities – including law enforcement agencies – as well as litigation experience.

5. Deputy City Attorney II or III – Advisory Division
Salary range for DCA II: $107,932 to $132,531 annually; DCA III: $119,000 to $146,115 annually
The candidate should have expertise in rent regulation and landlord/tenant law.

6. Deputy City Attorney II or III – Litigation Division
Salary range for DCA II: $107,932 to $132,531 annually; DCA III: $119,000 to $146,115 annually
Significant litigation experience including writ and appellate experience is desirable for this position.
