Job Description/Duties
Maslon LLP is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing Labor & Employment Group. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience advising employers on California employment law, including wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, accommodations, employee classification, workplace policies, and pay practices, and litigating employment-related litigation claims in California state and federal courts. This attorney should be comfortable partnering directly with clients to proactively identify risk, resolve workplace disputes, and achieve practical, business-focused outcomes.

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in California. For candidates located in California, role will be remote, with some travel required. For candidates located in Minnesota, role will be hybrid with three days per week in Maslon’s downtown Minneapolis office.

The salary range for this position is $225,000-325,000, dependent on years of experience. We will consider applicants for part-time employment, in which case salary will be prorated accordingly. Applicants with partial books of business will be considered, with negotiable compensation.
