Job Description/Duties
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, who will serve as a senior executive, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

This is a critical role with a broad responsibility that covers contracts, litigation, regulatory, licenses, leasing, mergers & acquisitions, and attorney generalist duties. The General Counsel will ensure quality legal controls, process, documents, and counsel for all legal matters within the corporation. As a member of the senior team, the General Counsel will participate in business strategy discussion and planning, while maintaining a culture of governance to ensure legal compliance while limiting risk exposure.

This is a trusted advisor role on all legal matters. Any use of outside counsel will be monitored and managed by the General Counsel. This executive will interact with board members, including representatives of multiple private equity owners.

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts
J.D. Law Degree
Member of California Bar


On-site leadership within the Camarillo, CA office.

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years General Counsel experience within a growth business.
• Senior leadership in a PE-backed investment is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills within complex situations, with the customer (internal/external) at the forefront.
• Member of the California Bar is preferred, but Arizona and Nevada will be considered.
• Preferred telecom background, including spectrum understanding.

• Ability to work with the CEO and executive team, Founder, PE investors, and Board of Directors to influence the growth of the organization.
